Of course dogs love a romp in piles and piles of fallen leaves. But kats? Flambé knows so! What do you think?

Fall Breeze …. Autumn Leaves
Pumpkin spiced hits the spot
Warm apple pie with cream
Hot cocoa a-steam in a pot
Melty marshmallows, a gooey dream.
Cozy coats, wool scarves in knots
Fickle weather swoops in by jet streams
Seasons shift, changes are wrought
Fall breezes and autumn leaves.
Flambé the Kat leaps high to swat
Leaves tumbling down in mid-stream
Bold oranges, sun yellows, oh-so red hot
Wind dancers extreme and agleam.
As always, Flambé invites you to follow her Zentangle-inspired antics (ZIAs) by visiting her page called Tangled Up, to see what trouble she always seems to find, past and present.
What an amazing drawing, Barb – so many interesting details and designs! I’m in awe of your work. Your poem speaks of my most favorite season – all the Fall leaves, pumpkins, cozy, oranges, reds & yellows! Very enjoyable post!

Oh wow! You’ve made my heart sing. Thanks so much for the beautiful comments Karen! I love Fall too, and we’ve already had several snows up on our mountain.
